French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has just announced the death of a 24-year-old firefighter who was fighting a fire last night that involved “several vehicles”.
The death occurred “while fighting a multi-vehicle fire in an underground car park in Sait-Denis (93)”. The 24-year-old firefighter, who was part of the Paris sapper firefighters, died “despite being quickly assisted by his colleagues,” the minister said on Twitter.
