Pentagon: Nothing indicates that a surface-to-air missile shot down Prigozhin’s plane

The Pentagon said on Thursday there was no indication that a surface-to-air missile had downed the plane carrying the leader of the Russian mercenary group Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin.

The Embraer private plane, belonging to the Wagner group, crashed on wednesday north of Moscow, killing all ten people who were on board.

The US military has “no information indicating that a surface-to-air missile was launched” involved in the plane crash that allegedly victimized Yevgeny PrigozhinUS Department of Defense spokesman Pat Ryder said, calling it a “incorrect” information on the use of such weapons.
