Russia says it shot down a drone near Moscow and two more on the border
Russian authorities say they destroyed three drones overnight on Monday. One would be approaching Moscow and the other two were killed on the border with Ukraine, in Briansk, according to the Guardian newspaper this morning.
The mayor of the Lyubertsy region, Sergei Sobyanin, reported on Telegram that air defenses “destroyed a drone that was flying towards Moscow.” There were no injuries or damage.
The situation caused two airports in the Russian capital, Domodedovo and Vnukovo, to suspend their activity.
