In a statement, AESA alerted airlines and other entities that there were airplanes with CFM56 engines in which several parts supplied by the company AOG Technics had a “falsified” ARC authorization certificate.

AESA indicated that “to date, AOG Technics did not provide information on the origin of the pieces or counterfeit ARC,” adding that “it is therefore issuing this alert to determine whether other parts have been supplied with counterfeit ARCs and to limit the impact” of “any parts” that are potentially unfit for flight.
EASA further said that “may adopt new measures as a result of ongoing investigations and information received from competent authorities, aircraft owners, operators, maintenance organizations and distributors.”
