The arrival of a new wave of wounded in Egypt comes after the Hamas government reported that the Israeli Army continued to prevent the evacuation of the wounded from the bombed city of Gaza in the south of the Strip, according to a press release from the local office executive.

According to the Egyptian Minister of Health, Khaled Abdelgafar, the Egypt receives between 40 and 50 wounded every day, “mostly children and women”since the Rafah terminal opened on November 1 to evacuate injured civilians.

The Gaza Strip has been intensely bombed by Israel since the unprecedented attack by the Islamist movement on Israeli territory on October 7, which left more than 1,400 dead, mostly civilians, around 5,000 injured and more than 200 hostages.
