The strategy was published by the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) after US President Joe Biden issued an executive order in October. to protect the country’s major infrastructure from the threats posed by AI. CISA said it will “evaluate and recommend” specific measures to combat the threats posed by AI to the country’s critical infrastructure.
A division of the agency, the Joint Cyber Defense Collaboration (JCDC), will be responsible for this mission.
