The IDF found explosives and clashed with Hamas brigades before entering Al Shifa.
The spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) posted an update on the social network X (formerly Twitter) about the operation launched at the Al-Shifa hospital.
“The IDF is currently carrying out a targeted operation in Al-Shifa,” he wrote. “The activity takes place in a defined compound and there is information indicating terrorist activities by the Hamas terrorist organization,” she added.
