The PT 2030 inter-ministerial coordination committee approved the annual competition plan that will be launched over the next eleven months.
Within the framework of PT 2030, the annual calendar of launch competitions was approved. The PT 2030 interministerial coordination committee approved the annual plan that will be in force until April 2025, the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion announced in a statement.
It was planned to launch 459 calls in these eleven months, with a total endowment of 4.5 billion euros. In the next three months, until August, 253 calls for aid worth 2.5 billion euros will be launched. According to the Ministry, these warnings “will be distributed across various political objectives and in the different regions of the country, in the social, economic, environmental, maritime and territorial spheres.”
PT 2030 began in 2021 and will extend until 2027, and Portugal has a financing amount of 23 billion euros.
The interministerial commission also approved the regulations for the Territorial Valorization and Social Infrastructure program. “The first regulation of PT 2030 is thus concluded,” states the Ministry, adding that this regulation “had not been the subject of analysis or opinion by the previous Government.”
The regulations imply the mobilization of 1,809 million euros that can be channeled towards health center projects, early childhood education, basic and secondary education, cultural and natural heritage and urban rehabilitation.
