The LFI text states that Macron’s refusal to appoint socialist Lucie Castets as head of government “constitutes a serious violation of the duty to respect the will expressed by universal suffrage”, considering that the NFP received the most votes in the legislative elections of July 7, but did not obtain an absolute majority.
