Several deputies from the Movement Towards Socialism, the party in power in Bolivia, they collided this Thursday in the national parliament. Despite belonging to the party that governs the country, they do not coincide with the policies of the current president, Luis Arce.

According to Deutsche Welle, the deputies, from another faction of the ruling party, went up to the main bench and attempted to attack the government official to express their discontent with the measures taken.
Former Bolivian President Evo Morales announced earlier this month a hunger strike until the current government agreed to political dialogue, in an apparent attempt to calm protests that have paralyzed the country in recent weeks.
Thousands of people have taken to the streets to protest against rising prices of essential goods and fuel shortages.
