The Cape Verdean state company assured that since Monday, August 29, it has been making efforts to protect affected passengers.
“All passengers will be notified about protection flights via telephone and email addresses, so they should not show up at the airport,” the company requested.
The National Union of Civil Aviation Workers (Sintac) called a strike at the ground handling company, at the airports of Lisbon, Porto, Faro and Funchal, starting at 00:00 on Friday and ending at 00 :00 hours on Monday.
