In part of an interview with Fox News Digital that aired Saturday, manufacturing workers in Pennsylvania spoke about President Joe Biden’s student loan debt program.
Jim Davis said: “This is not going to affect the people here, the people who actually do all the work outside the home. So yes, he will help people in big cities because he wants to. But as far as I’m concerned, it won’t help me. ”
Francisco Hernandez said: “Many of these families are wealthy. They have money to pay. So they take a break and can sit on their couch – they’re stuck to the point where they can’t use the kids.” And “Everything will be fair – it’s a gift, but it comes at the expense of our debt, and taxpayers must afford it.”
Kevin Vasileski said: “I really haven’t met many people. [people enthusiastic about it]. I think they signed the contract, they have to pay the price. Why should I pay for someone else’s college? And “I don’t think a plumber should pay for a doctor’s prep school.”
