According to the MP, the defendant, diagnosed with schizophrenia and in a situation of decompensation, “acted with extreme coldness of spirit, motivated exclusively by a futile reason.”
The body of the 82-year-old victim was found by the mother of the accused and the daughter of the old woman around 6:00 p.m., through third parties.
After his complaint, the suspect was identified and detained in flagrante delicto by the Judicial Police at the hospital for strong indications of the crime of qualified homicide.
