We usually associate F1 with circuits where the Grand Prix (GP) of the main category of motor sports are discussed. But Alfa Romeo, which is present in this discipline, found a way to takes the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN car from the track to the road, strolling through the places in Milan that illustrate many of the tourist postcards of this Italian city, such as Piazza Duomo, Piazza San Babila, Porta Nuova, the train station, among other points.

At the wheel was Finn Valtteri Bottas.a driver who defends the colors of Alfa in F1 and who begins precisely by recalling the sporting past of the brand, with an Alfetta 158 – the car with which Nino Farina became, on September 3, 1950, the first Champion of the World of Drivers in the history of F1, a triumph that had a special “flavor” since it was achieved at home. It took place at the Italian GP in Monza, a circuit that celebrates its centenary this year.something that Alfa Romeo does not want to miss, due to the sporting connection between the brand and the historic Italian track.

The first of “many tributes” prepared by Alfa to celebrate 100 years of the Circuit de Monza is the video that you can see above, published by the CEO of the Italian brand. The full version will be broadcast on the brand’s social networks this weekend., in which the Italian GP is held in Monza. In the film, whose images were captured at the end of June, it can be seen that the roadmap prepared for Bottas included two points of special interest for Alfa Romeo: Portobello, because it was there that the first factory of Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili was installed; and an Alfa Romeo stand… It is that, on a day-to-day basis, F1 drivers can only drive normal cars and the brand’s latest novelty is the Tonale, the SUV with which the Italian brand begins a new cycle, towards full electrificationnow with Jean-Philippe Imparato at the helm.
