Iranian customs chief Ali Reza Makdisi pointed out that the volume of foreign trade between Iran and the member states of the Eurasian Union in the first five months of this year amounted to one billion 326 million 394 thousand dollars.
Maqdisi mentioned the important measures taken by the Iranian customs in the international sphere within the framework of the implementation of the right of the agreement between Iran and Eurasia to increase the volume of foreign trade between the members through the formation of a joint working group on customs cooperation via the Internet. with Eurasian Member States to update the customs value of Iranian exported materials to Eurasia, following the implementation of the electronic customs information exchange document and the cooperation document to identify accredited economic actors to provide trade opportunities to member states, and Iran’s consent to activate the electronic certificate of origin and application of Eurasian preferential discounts among Member States for export goods.
