The shareholders of Mota-Engil meet this Monday in a general assembly to, among other items on the agenda, elect three new members of the Board of Directors, including the former leader of the CDS-PP Paulo Portas.
In the magna assembly, the acceptance of the resignation presented by Xiangrong Wang as a member of the Board of Directors (CA) of the company will be discussed and deliberated, as well as the fixing of 17 of the number of members to compose this body.
Another item on the agenda is the election, for the current term, corresponding to the 2021/2023 triennium, of three new members of the Mota-Engil Board of Directors: former Governor Paulo Portas, José Pinto Moreira and João Parreira, names proposed by the shareholder Mota Gestão e Participações Sociedade Gestora de Participações Sociais.
The fourth and last point intends to deliberate “in setting the amount of the deposit to be provided by the elected members of the Board of Directors“.
In other words, “the members of the Board of Directors elected in relation to the previous item on this agenda provide a guarantee for the minimum amount legally established, or, failing that, substitute the aforementioned guarantee for an insurance contract in favor of society”, read in the call.
