Teachers begin a strike this Monday at the end of classes, in a strike called by the platform of nine union organizations against the new hiring regime and for the recovery of all service time.
In addition to the strike in the last school period of each teacher, strikes also began for overtime, overwork, and the non-teaching component, with no impact on the students’ classes.

Before that, Mário Nogueira had said that the end of the planned stoppages until the end of the school year was in the hands of the Ministry of Education and depended on how the negotiations were carried outbut after learning about the government’s proposals, he said that the plans did not change.
The union platform will also return to strikes by districts, between April 17 and May 12, with a national strike and demonstration on June 6, and a year-end liquidation strike.
