American actor Chris Pine responded to the recent video of Harry Styles spitting on him at the premiere of his movie “Don’t Worry Darling?” At the Venice Film Festival.

Payne’s representative denied the accusations that Styles spat on him, calling them “ridiculous” in a statement shared with Variety.
“Just to clarify, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion to the contrary is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist,” read the statement released by Pine’s team. .
This clarification comes after the internet went down due to a video clip from inside the theater at the Venice Film Festival. In the video, Payne suddenly stops clapping and laughs nervously. Despite the video being shared and retweeted several times, no confirmation was given until Payne’s official statement on the incident.
