More than 50 artists and bands will perform from this Thursday at Festival F, which returns this year in full for the 7th editionwith nine stages spread throughout the historic center of Faro.
The party takes place on this day, Friday and Saturday, and the venue always opens at 6:00 p.m. and closes at 5:00 a.m.
This year, A Garota Não has the honor of opening the festival, at 7:45 p.m. on the Museum Stage.
Later Katalina, José Cid, with the Orquestra Clássica do Sul, Carol, Bárbara Bandeira, Lhast, Cláudia Pascoal, Nenny, Rita Vian, The Black Mamba, Viviane, Lon3r Johnny, Syro, Wet Bed Gang, Pedro Mafama and the DJs interpret Wilson Honorable and Danni Gato.
Performances by Mari Segura, Cassete Pirata, Marco Rodrigues, Suricata, Agir, Rita Rocha, Matay, Irma, Milhanas, HMB, benji price, Bateu Matou, T-Rex, Richie Campbell, PAUS and Karetus are scheduled for Friday.
The festival ends on Saturday with Mimi Froes, Luís Trigacheiro, Leo Middea, Miguel Araújo, Beatriz Rosário, Vitão, Ivandro, Nuno Lanhoso, Jüra, Domingues, Chico da Tina, Julinho KSD, Mateus Verde, Emergency Exit, Dino D’Santiago and DJ Kura and Carolina Torres.
Festival F also has a parallel program, with talks, exhibitions and “stand up comedy“.
Contemporary art exhibitions will be on display at Fábrica da Cerveja and Galeria Arco, as well as permanent exhibitions at the Museo and Galeria Trem.
The meetings take place every day in the Cloister of the Cathedral at 9:30 p.m. “How much is a meme worth?”, “Can we be super experts without becoming fanatics?” and “What have the last three years done to our minds?” are the questions that this year give motto to meetings.
The “Stand Up Comedy” sessions will feature Hugo Sousa, João Pinto, Inês Coimbra and Youre Cabral, on this day, Alexandre Santos, Duarte Pita Negrão, Dagu and André Pinheiro, on Friday, and Dário Guerreiro, Juan Pereira, Madalena Malveiro and Ricardo María, on Saturday.
Admission to the festival is free for children up to 12 years old. The little ones have the Fagar Kids F space on the premises, which between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. has “ludic-pedagogical activities with the theme of environmental sustainability for children from 6 to 10 years old”.
Festival F is organized by the City Council of Faro, the Municipal Theater of Faro, the Ambifaro Municipal Facilities Management Company and the production company Sons em Trânsito.
