Walmart has apologized for its controversial “June” freeze as photos began circulating over the weekend and plans to remove items “as needed” in response to backlash.

The response was quick.

Walmart has issued an apology for the product, saying it is inspecting the items and “removing” them if necessary.
“The June holiday marked a celebration of freedom and liberty,” Walmart told FOX.
