The official shooting takes place at a time when the city of Los Angeles is grappling with rising homelessness and crime, which was the focus of billionaire Rick Caruso’s mayoral campaign. Karen Bass (D-CA).
“There is no doubt that our police can do better, but attacks on ordinary officers must be stopped,” Caruso’s campaign website said. “The men and women of the LAPD risk their lives every day. The phrase “stop police funding” is meaningless.”
“When there is an emergency, we everybody loves “Our first responders must come quickly and save lives and show them our support with respect and gratitude along with a consistent and unequivocal demand for excellence, fair treatment and professionalism around the world.”
