Representative Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) continues to be skeptical of President Joe Biden as his approval rating drops below 30.
This week, when asked if Spenberger could campaign with Biden in the district-rated “Draw” contest, he said, “I plan to campaign myself. I’m running. That’s my name on the ballot.”
In fact, the congressman even avoids the question of whether he will support Biden in 2024 if he runs for a second term.
However, since he was a Democrat who voted for Biden 100% of the time, Spahnberger’s comments came as a surprise to some and may have been an attempt to appear more moderate and independent with Biden ahead of a tough primary.
The president recently saw the lowest approval rating of his presidency last month. 57 percent disagreed with CIVIQS’s moving average job approval, down to 32 percent, giving a total net minus 25 approval.
Spanberger has criticized Biden’s political judgment in the past, but he also hired the president in his district in February to discuss his far-left agenda.

Before Biden took the stage, Spenberger told the audience he “wanted to host President Biden and his team in his district.” He added that he is “proud” to bring the president to his region.
The congressman does not seem in a position to decide on the tactics of the election campaign.
It came later in November when he criticized Biden, his administration and his agenda. His sudden resignation may be a ploy to appear more modest, as he did after Republicans won state elections and reclaimed the state governor, vice-governor, attorney general, and House of Representatives.
He criticized himself and his program: “No one chose him as Roosevelt; They chose him to be normal and stop the chaos.”
Additionally, in November, when gas prices across the country first began to rise, Spanberger said in an interview that Biden was responsible and was “proud” to be among the alarming members of Congress. high gas prices.
