The Liberal Initiative requested this Tuesday to the President of the Government, António Costa, a survey of all the working groups, monitoring committees and task forces created by his three governments, as well as the respective conclusions and associated costs.
“What we are going to do is ask the Government, that is, the Prime Minister, to quantify how many working groups, working groups, monitoring, execution and management commissions, and mission structures have been created by their three governments,” he told the press. Lusa the parliamentary leader of IL, Rodrigo Saraiva.
The Liberal deputy recalled that in the last debate with the President of the Government, on June 22, the party asked him about “the large number of structures created since 2015 by successivesocialist executives.
Liberal Initiative says that “the government has no energy” and leaves the question to António Costa: “What are you waiting for?”
Rodrigo Saraiva added that IL found “about 62” of these structures, but there was no response from the prime minister, so the liberals presented this Tuesday a request insisting on the clarification.
Ignorance, from the perspective of the leader of the liberal caucus, increases the “discredit of state services“.
In the application, IL also wants to know what conclusions all these structures have reached and the associated costs.
For Rodrigo Saraiva, it is necessary to discern what are the “fats of the State” with these organisms “that are born like mushrooms”.
“In the previous legislature, IL requested, for example, the report of the working group ‘School without bullying, school without violence’, to the Ministry of Education, to which we had no response, therefore, it ignores the conclusions of this group” , exemplified the deputy, arguing that the same thing happened with the request for disclosure of the report on the structure of missions for the “Health Budget Sustainability Program.”
Rodrigo Saraiva considered that it is “serious if none of these working groups reached a conclusion“, arguing that they “create entropy” if they do not produce concrete effects.
“Unfortunately, the history of the PS has been to evade the questions and requests that are made, either formally or in full. The government flees. Questions that are formally asked are not answered, ”he lamented.
