Poland’s IGA Švientek retained its top spot in the women’s tennis rankings released today, while Tunisians Anas Jaber and Irina Sabalenko moved up one spot to sixth and seventh respectively, and Karolina Pliskova dropped two places behind the top contenders. Egyptian Mayar Sheriff jumped 12 positions to become 50th in the world after winning the Women’s Open Tennis Championships in Karlsruhe for the second time in a row.
