As part of the activities of the Lebanese Basketball Championship final, the Al-Riyadi club achieved the impossible and, having compensated for the difference of 15 points, returned and beat the Beirut club with a score of 71-69 and took the lead 1-0.

The first quarter was marked by fierce competition between the two teams and mutual baskets, and at the end, the wards of coach Ahmed Farran managed to finish it with a score of 19: 16. In the second quarter, Beirut increased the difference with the entry of Wael Arakcji. and Al-Mared Saleh Al-Majri on the line and Dhaka, the title holder’s basket, with consecutive baskets to bring the difference to over 15 points. In the third quarter, Beirut retained control amid a total loss to Nago Al-Riyadi to end the quarter 56-40. At the start of the fourth quarter there was a big uprising of Al Riyadi players led by Karim Zainun with three consecutive goals to close the gap and both teams scored 56 points.

The last five minutes saw a serious rivalry between the two teams and progress was exchanged by both sides, but the professional Kikanović outdid himself and Meiri to end the match 71-69 in favor of his team.
