The Egyptian Handball Federation sent an official message to Attorney General Hamada El-Sawi, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi, the Egyptian Olympic Committee and the House of Representatives against Zamalek Club President Mortada Mansour for his deliberate insult to International Handball Federation President Hassan Mostafa by saying his name at the Hammamet complex at the club’s headquarters at Dahiyat Al Mohandessin in Giza.

The federation called on the state to “stand firm and steadfast in the face of this work that is offensive to the state and its symbols in the face of a world that values, respects and loves our beloved Egypt.”

Mansour put up the banner after his team beat rivals Al-Ahly in an African super handball match last month and then took it down after criticism hit him on social media.
