Brazilian international striker Richarlison will represent Tottenham for the next five seasons, until 2027, after four years at Everton, the two emblems of the English soccer league announced on Friday.
Although the clubs have not revealed the amounts involved in the transfer, the British press indicates that Londoners spent around 58 million euros.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of Richarlison from Everton, subject to a work permit. The Brazilian international has signed a contract with us until 2027“, reported the “spurs” on the official website.
Richarlison, 25, is Spurs’ fifth signing for the 2022/23 seasonafter the arrivals of the Croatian Ivan Perisic, the Malian Yves Bissouma, the Englishman Fraser Forster and the Senegalese Pape Sarr, who had already been signed by Metz, from France, in 2021.
The “Canarian” international began his career 36 times at Real Nordeste, followed by América Mineiro and Fluminense, still in Brazil, before signing for Watford in 2017/18, in which he was managed by the Portuguese Marco Silva, who would come to occupy the Everton winger the following season.
