Morocco will host the fourteenth edition of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations with 12 teams including Morocco and Tunisia divided into 3 groups of 4 teams each competing in one match.

The top and runners-up from each group advance directly to the quarter-finals and are joined by the top two third-placed teams in their respective groups. Tournament rounds end in a knock-out system.

The group stage will end on July 10, the quarter-finals will take place on the 13th and 14th of the same month, the semi-finals will take place on the 18th, the match for third place will take place on the 22nd, and the final match will take place on the 23rd.

The crowned champion earns half a million dollars, compared to $300,000 for the runners-up and $225,000 for the two losing teams in the golden square.

The loser of the quarter-finals receives $175,000, compared to $150,000 for the third-placed group stage non-qualifying team between the best third-place finishers and $100,000 for the fourth-placed team.
