LeBron James finally spoke about WNBA star Britney Griner, who was imprisoned in a Russian prison on drug charges, and said she might not want to return to America instead.
Despite being a billionaire in this country, James, who is known for his anti-American views, commented on an HBO broadcast. If it had been Griner, he might not have wanted to remain a United States citizen.
“How will he feel now that he’s back in America? I said, “Do I want to go back to America?” He said, according to TMZ.
James responded with allegations that the Biden administration had not done enough to free him from a prison cell in Russia.

Brittney Griner was playing for the Russian basketball team in Russia during the WNBA summer season. She was arrested in February for having a CBD vape cartridge in her trunk while she was trying to leave the country. She was arrested in February and charged with drug possession and has spent every day in a prison in Russia since then.
Last week, the WNBA player wrote a letter to the Biden administration asking for help in removing Russia from the legal system. However, he was also found guilty of owning an e-cigarette cartridge.

It’s hard to say whether Griner would agree with LeBron’s statement. After all, he was a millionaire athlete who said the WNBA should stop playing the national anthem because America was too racist for his liking.
