Saudi Arabia’s youth team completed the first round of the West Asian Championship with a full score after beating their Qatari counterpart by three sets to one game at the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Sports City Hall in Qatif in the fifth round of the second group of the championship.
The results of the four games were as follows: 25-21, 25-22, 20-25-25-18.
In the same group, the Palestinian team took second place, with great difficulty overcoming the obstacle of the Kuwaiti team with a score of 3-2.
The Palestinian team advanced in two clean sets with a score of 26-28 and 23-25 before the Kuwaiti team woke up and won two sets in a row 25-22 and 25-22, so both teams decided a tiebreak. this was decided by the commandos with a score of 15-12.
In the first group, the Bahrain team became the leader of the group, beating the team of Jordan with three clean runs: 25-13, 25-14 and 25-11.
