The International Court of Sports (CAS) upheld the decision of the International Football Association (FIFA) to fine Al Ittihad Jeddah 16.5 million Saudi Riyals because of Anis Al Badri, a former Al Ittihad and Esperance player.

The Jeddah Federation demanded from FIFA compensation in the amount of 31 million rials from the player Anis Al-Badri in connection with his unauthorized departure from the team or termination of the contract.

According to Saudi legal expert Ahmed Al-Sheikh, the International Sports Court did not take into account the union’s evidence in court, and one of them was ignored because it was presented in Arabic, and a penalty in the form of a deduction of 15%. the player’s salary was canceled, calling it arbitrary.

Anis Al-Badri left Al-Ittihad after they decided to unilaterally terminate his contract due to not receiving financial contributions for two months, and the Saudi club decided to file a complaint against the player with the FIFA International Football Association, and the player also filed a complaint in order to receive his financial contributions.
