As part of the events of the first week of the English Premier League, Liverpool were pleased with a 2-2 draw with host Fulham in a meeting that brought them together.

In the first half of the meeting, there was no Uruguayan forward, new Liverpool player Nunez and Firmino in his place, but the offensive activity of the Reds was in vain and there was no danger at the Fulham goal, but Serb Mitrovic surprised everyone and stole the goal of the 32nd advance, ending the half with such a result.

Nunes came on as a substitute for Firmino in the second half and Liverpool moved forward, with the newcomer managing to score in the 64th minute thanks to a characteristic pass from Mohamed Salah. After the goal, everyone thought that the Reds would attack furiously to score the winning goal, but Mitrovic had a different opinion and snatched a penalty from Van Dijk, who himself transferred to 72.

In the 81st minute, Mohamed Salah equalized again after an assist from Nunez, ending the match in a positive 2–2 draw between the two teams.
