Paulo Futre was hospitalized this Sunday with suspected stroke (Cerebral Vascular Accident) after feeling bad at his mother’s funeral. The information is being advanced by Correio da Manhã.
The 56-year-old former player was assisted for the first time in the Barreiro hospital and later transferred to the Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon.
Paulo Futre’s mother passed away on August 17 and, at the time, the former Portuguese international said goodbye to her on social networks with the following message: “Goodbye my dear mother, rest in peace.”
