Minnesota Timberwolves forward Tauryn Prince was arrested Thursday night at Miami airport on charges related to “hazardous drugs,” according to TMZ Sports.
Police told TMZ Sports that the arrest was related to a pending arrest warrant on drug-related charges in Texas.
Prince, 28, played for the Baylors before being selected by the Jazz in the first round of the 2016 NBA draft. After a brief stay in Utah, Prince was mostly an apprentice. He played in several cities before signing a two-year, $16 million contract with the Timberwolves.
