Al Ahly Bank of Egypt President Ashraf Nassar spoke about signing a 3-season contract with former Zamalek player Mohamed Abu Gabal, indicating that he will meet with team coach Khaled Galal to discuss new deals.
Nassar said: “Negotiations have been going on for some time and based on the mutual desire of both sides, which facilitated negotiations, but it took only a while to reach an agreement.”
He added: “Abu Jabal accepts the challenge, wins it and returns to the Egyptian national team, and what was reported about his desire to receive a penalty clause less than his salary is not true. There have been some disputes that have been resolved and the penalty clause will be discussed by the treasurer.”
He continued: “Khaled Jalal continues to lead the team and Amir Abdel Aziz will join him on the first team’s technical staff starting from the new season, after agreement with him.”
He continued, “Razzac Cisse, the Zamalek player, has not officially joined and we will not talk about him until the deal is officially finalized.”
He concluded: “There will be a session with Khaled Jalal within two days to agree on a plan for next season and maybe we will sign one of Al Ahly and Zamalek’s loan players and we will go ahead with the deal. file with restrictions and in accordance with a specific policy.”
