The West Asian Football Federation has announced that Saudi Arabia will host the third West Asian Under-23 Championship from 3 to 18 November.

In a statement released by the West Asia Federation, it is said that the Saudi Federation has expressed its willingness to host the tournament, in which 8 federations have announced participation, namely: Saudi Arabia (host), Iraq, Emirates, Bahrain, Syria, Oman, Lebanon and Palestine , while the doors to other federations are still open. To apply for participation before the deadline set for September 29th.

The West Asian Federation previously decided to move the championship from Iraq, while the Iraqi federation retained the right to host the next, fourth edition of the championship.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Federation hosted the second edition of the tournament in 2021, in which the Jordanian team became the champion, and the Saudi Arabia team took second place.
