R&B and pop star Rihanna has confirmed she will be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show early next year.
On Sunday, the We Found Love singer posted an NFL soccer ball to her Instagram account but didn’t add a caption to the photo.

Sunday’s post followed rumors that the singer was in talks to headline Apple Music’s Halftime show at Super Bowl 57 in February. .
Rapper Jay-Z, who signed the NFL musical entertainment plan in 2019, praised Rihanna in a statement on Sunday.
“Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble origin who exceeds expectations at every turn,” said Jay-Z. “A man born on the small island of Barbados became one of the greatest artists of all time. Be successful in business and leisure.”

Apple Music, which took over the NFL Halftime show from last year’s sponsor Pepsi, also praised the singer.
“Rihanna is an incredible singer loved by millions of Apple Music users around the world,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple vice president of Apple Music and Beats. “We are excited to partner with Rihanna, Roc Nation and the NFL to put on an epic show for music and sports fans who are great performers for the first Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.”

The announcement round ended insider speculation that the 2023 Halftime show will be directed by pop star Taylor Swift.
Either way, Rihanna may need money from her NFL splurge by donating $15 million to a “climate justice” organization that promotes the idea that the weather is racist in seven Caribbean countries.
However, the singer has other sources of income. Earlier this year, her company Fenty Beauty introduced a lipstick for men prone to gender reassignment. Since then, there is no news about how well this product sells.
Although no official information has even come out, the billionaire “Love on the Brain” singer has spent most of her time dealing with political issues in recent years.
