The Lebanese Shooting and Hunting Federation organized an archery competition, which is the first round of the 2022 Lebanese Championships in Olympic Hole Archery for Category (A) Excellent, which was held on the Tony Wazen Shooting Club course with 29 shooters. .

The results of the 125 bowl qualifying round for the top eight shooters were as follows:

Under the new system followed by the International Shooting Federation, the top eight shooters out of 125 targets will qualify in a five-round qualifying competition.

In the final stage, the bowlers are numbered one to four according to their performance in the semi-final stage, and the match begins and the fourth bowler is eliminated after 15 bowls have been fired, and then the third placed bowler with the lowest score on 25 bowls is eliminated and the remaining bowlers finish shooting until the thirty-fifth bowl, after which it is declared from the first and second bowls, and if at this stage there is a tie between the first and second, then it will be decided by a differentiation round (Shoot Off).

So the final results were as follows:

The fourth place shooter, Waleed Al-Najar, scored 11 points out of 35.

– Third place bowler Hisham Shaheen with 19 dishes out of 35.

– Runner-up bowler Joe Salem with 27 hits out of 50 courses.

Shooter Eli Bejani took first place and won 29 out of 50 plates in the semi-final and final rounds.
