The Portuguese clubs will receive around 300 thousand euros for the presence of its players in the Football Nations League campaign, a source from the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) told Lusa on Tuesday.
This amount will be distributed by the FPF to the nine clubs that loaned players to the participating teams in the competition in which the five team finished second in Group A2, behind Spain, classified for the “final four”.
EITHER Benfica is the club that receives the most, with 88 thousand euros, followed by Sporting, with 51 thousand euros, and FC Porto, with 47.5 thousand euros
Pia House, with 30 thousandNacional and Paços de Ferreira, with 22 thousand euros each, Gil Vicente and Vitória de Guimarães, with 15 thousand eachand Sporting de Braga, with Sevenare the other shields awarded with these amounts for the transfer of players to the national teams.
The “final four” of the Nations League will be played in June 2023, in the Netherlands, by the host team, Spain, Croatia and Italy.
