Portugal starts Euro2024 race with reception to Liechtenstein

The Portuguese soccer team starts the race for Euro 2024 on March 23, 2023, at 7:45 p.m., with the reception against Liechtenstein, on the first day of the Group J classification.

To earn a place in the Euro2024 final, which takes place in Germany from June 14 to July 14, Portugal need only be in the top two of Group J and, failing that, they can still have the play offthrough the League of Nations.

The Portuguese soccer team missed the first six final phases (1960, 1964, 1968, 1972, 1976 and 1980) and, after debuting in 1984, also those of 1988 and 1992, but it was always present from 1996, being a finalist in 2004 and champion in 2016.
