The Russian Ka-52M reconnaissance attack helicopter was successfully tested in Ukraine during a special military operation.

After the test, the Russian Ministry of Defense presented proposals for changes in some helicopter systems.
It is worth noting that the decision to modernize the Ka-52 helicopter after its use in the conflict in Syria was taken.
The fire command system and communication equipment were modernized, the helicopter’s armor was strengthened, it was equipped with a system to protect its crew from “surface-to-air” missiles and a modern network radar.
It is also equipped with a modern “air-to-ground” missile with a self-guided television head.
The helicopter can now detect a tank at a range of 45 km, a helicopter at a range of 20 km and a bridge at a range of 100 km. The helicopter flies at a distance of 460 km, at an altitude of 5,500 meters, at a speed of 300 km / h.
The speed of departure is 12-16 meters per second.
