The Kalashnikov Company has announced its intention to contribute to the development of a new military landing craft and speedboats for the Russian army.

At the moment, efforts are focused in our engineering design offices to modify the existing projects to improve the BK-16 and BK-10 boats, and the goal is to leave the imported equipment for these boats, and at the same time we are preparing a project to build a new military landing craft.”
The Russian BK-16 boats are designed as boats for military landing operations and transport of special forces in various bodies of water, and are equipped with advanced weapons that allow them to carry out missions and counter-terrorism operations in support of military personnel, and can also be used in rescue operations and medical ambulance transports.
Each boat in this class is 16 meters long, approximately 3.8 meters wide and has a displacement of approximately 22 tons, and can cover distances of up to 400 miles at 42 knots. armed with four 7.62 mm machine guns and one 12.7 mm machine gun, 40 mm grenade launcher, anti-ship and boat mines and “Kornet” missile system.
BK-10 boats, developed within the framework of the 2450 state project in Russia, are military transport vehicles with a speed of up to 40 knots used for landing, military transport, fire support and anti-piracy operations at sea. .
Capable of traveling 400 nautical miles per mission, these boats are equipped with four 7.62 and 12.7 mm machine guns and grenade launchers.
