“Android” suffered a heavy defeat against “iPhone”! ..but this may change this month!

The new “iPhone 14 Pro Max” faces two rivals from the “Android” operating system in the maximum speed test, and the results look very good for Apple.

The award for the fastest smartphone on the planet seems to go to California, where Apple beat its Android rivals in its latest speed tests.

And now, the all-new iPhone 14 Pro Max powered by the A16 Bionic processor, along with the latest Pixel 7 Pro and Samsung’s recently released Galaxy Z Fold4 phones, are putting all these devices to the test with a simple app test.

Using several popular apps, the PhoneBuff team tested how quickly things like games, cameras, streaming services, and utilities can open and close. The test also included running some image filters and exporting high-definition video.

Every time an app starts and closes, the whole process runs again to see which phones manage to keep the data stored in their memory banks. This is important because it helps make load times faster.

To be fair, PhoneBuff uses the same apps on both Android and iPhone, and even opens them in exactly the same order.

It also uses a unique robotic arm and stylus to keep everything running at the same speed on all phones.

All tested devices coped well when opening apps like Spotify and Disney+, but where the iPhone stood out was when things got more memory-intensive.

Apple smartphones are ahead of the Pixel 7 and Galaxy Z Fold4 when exporting videos and turning on filters in photo editing apps.

After the first round, the “iPhone 14 Pro Max” was ahead of the Pixel and Galaxy.

When the final timer completes, the iPhone completes the tasks in 2 minutes and 45 seconds.

This speed test is obviously good news for Apple fans, but things could change next month.

US chip maker Qualcomm is about to hold its annual tech summit, where it will almost certainly unveil its new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

And if things follow the usual pattern, Gen 2 will make the next generation of Android devices faster.

While the full details on Gen 2 won’t be revealed until next week, Qualcomm has hinted at some big hints about a phone that looks set to hit this segment with the Galaxy S23, which will almost certainly only be powered by a new processor that this.

“I think we’ll be announcing the next-generation Snapdragon at our tech summit in a couple of weeks,” Qualcomm President Cristiano Amon said at a recent meeting with investors.
