Russian electronic warfare prevents enemy drones from flying from the front line

New Russian electronic warfare vehicles will not allow Ukrainian drones to operate above the front line and approach the front line at a distance of less than one kilometer.

These electronic warfare vehicles must not see our defenses and hit them by pushing Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles operating at 2.4 to 5.8 Hz frequency deep into enemy defenses.

This was announced by Dmitry Rogozin, director of the “Tsar Wolves” scientific and technical center, which created conditions for testing the new electronic warfare system at the Donetsk airport in the Donbass region.

Rogozin said that these devices can be used on the ground and in the air, because they are powered by a cable that stretches from the ground.

It is worth noting that the presence of tracking and reconnaissance drones above the combat contact line is a modern technical idea presented by a special military operation. Military units equipped with quadcopter unmanned aerial vehicles, on the other hand, gain an advantage over the enemy thanks to their better knowledge of their movements, numbers and current positions.

Drones have also shown great effectiveness in regulating artillery fire, and the side that lacks this effective weapon loses on the battlefield.

Rogozin also provided information about the “Marker” robot, which is being tested at the Special Military Operations Area. The robot carries a Drone that can climb 150 meters above the ground, where it can detect enemy combat formations at a depth of 20 kilometers, including using night vision devices, and the drone does not require of a portable electric battery because it is connected to the robot through a power cable.

The director of “Wolves of Tsar” said that the “Marker” automatic platform has 5 models, two-wheeled platform and 3-tracked platform.

It is noteworthy that Russian media previously reported that one of these platforms was tested as a lethal robot for suicide drones.
