Miio reaches 4,500 charging stations in Spain

It was in May 2019 that the Portuguese Rafael Ferreira and Daniela Simões launched an application to simplify the lives of electric vehicle users. who, like them, faced difficulties in finding an available and functional charging station to recharge the battery. Today this application is well known to those who choose to ride an electric car: Miio already has more than 75,000 users in Portugal and announced that next door, in Spain, it managed to go from 120 charging stations to around 4,500 in a very short time, which includes the Ionity consortium supercharger network.

This milestone was reached just six months after the Portuguese company announced its expansion into the Spanish market, with the co-founder of Miio and The executive director of the company, Daniela Simões, stressed that the expansion of the territory is essential to offer a more pleasant experience in the use of electric vehicles. “Our goal is to provide a better consumer experience, regardless of their nationality or place of origin.more and more is being achieved with this expansion in such an important market for Portuguese users”, said Daniela Simões.

After Spain, Miio has also entered France, so for the moment zero-emission travel is being facilitated in these two countries, using the Portuguese application and the different services it offers.
