GranTurismo returns to the market with a new generation, increasing sophistication compared to its predecessors, but also increasing power, speed and adding a 100% electric version, by far the most powerful, with more than 700 horsepower. The new sports car began by being presented to Portuguese consumers in Cascais, followed by a new reveal in Porto.
The GranTurismo is a defining model for the Italian marque, which was given new life (finally) with the creation of the Stellantis. With a stroke of the pen, he launched a two-door, four-seater coupe onto the market, with an interesting 310-liter trunk, equipped with two gasoline engines capable of extracting 490 HP or 550 HP from the 3.0 V6 biturbo gasoline, all with AWD transmission, with all wheel drive
But the new Italian coupé did not stop there, as the manufacturer took advantage of the electrification trend to launch a battery-powered version of the GranTurismo, the Folgore, which not only comes close to its natural rivals, but even surpasses them, stating rated at 761 hp, and has installed (but not yet used) a total output of about 1200 hp. This allows Maserati to even command respect from constructors like Ferrari and Lamborghini, which it has not approached for a long time.
In addition to having also shone at international events such as Milan Design Week and the Rolex Monte-Carlo Tennis Masters, GranTurismo was also the star in Portugal, more precisely at the transalpine brand’s showroom in Cascais, where it became known for the first time domestic drivers. Curious and potential customers were thus able to get to know the new GranTurismo, with the possibility of driving the new sports car that will arrive soon, as soon as the demonstration units are registered. A few days after the event on the outskirts of Lisbon, GranTurismo headed north, where it introduced itself to Porto clients:
