About a dozen activists have been at the entrance of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon since 6:00 a.m. this Friday in protest against the end of fossil fuels, a source from the movement “End to the Fossil Occupation”.
Speaking to Lusa at around 8:15 am, activist Leonor Silva said that the “The university is open, but the activists protest next to the main entrance”.
“We are protesting the lack of responsibility of the faculty in the face of the problem of the climate crisis,” he said.
