This is what was missing: Esprit de Voyage comes to DS 3

This was what was missing: the DS 3 had not yet been presented to customers sporting the Esprit de Voyage collection, already available in the DS 4, DS 7 and DS 9 ranges, but The French luxury brand has just announced that its compact SUV will also benefit from this more refined equipment line.

Prices have not yet been announced in our market, but it is already known that the order book opens in October and, a month later, the first units of the DS 3 Esprit de Voyage should land in Portugal.

Even without official values, it is expected that this version of the B-SUV premium The French will be sold at prices above €38,525 which requires the basic engine of the range (the 1.2 PureTech 130 HP), in the Rivoli equipment level. This is because it is from this line that the Esprit de Voyage edition adds a series of equipment and differentiating elements.

Also available with a 130 HP diesel engine, associated with an eight-speed automatic transmission, or in a purely electric variant (115 kW/156 HP and a WLTP range of 402 km), the DS 3 Esprit de Voyage visually pursues the evocation of the concept of travel. Hence, on the outside, the mirror covers show a laser-engraved motif that, according to the brand, was “adapted to suggest movement and aerodynamics”, thus seeking to refer the imagination to the world of expeditions. Equally specific to this version are the 18-inch wheels, which feature an anthracite gray finish with matte varnish, as well as the DS Wings in gloss black at the front, with the grille of the same color with chrome elements. On the outside, the inscription “Esprit de Voyage” stands out on the doors, a signature that is also inscribed on the door thresholds.

Inside, the main note is addressed to Map of Europe drawn in guilloche lines., to which are added leather seats or a combination of leather and fabric. The dashboard is covered in Gallet Gray Napa, a tone that was also chosen for the roof lining.

As for the equipment supplied as standard, in addition to that already integrated at Rivoli level, customers can count on hands-free entry and starting, an infotainment system with connected 3D navigation, as well as heated seats and a central armrest in the front. Interior rearview mirror without electrochromic frame, footwell lighting, tinted rear windows and LED taillights.
