FNC’s Karl Rove: Arrest Protesters at Judges’ Homes or “Judges” Open Invitation Season

Fox News analyst Karl Rove said this week on Fox News Sunday that it is “open time for the judges” unless protesters are arrested in the homes of Supreme Court justices.

Discussing the arrest of a gunman in front of Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s home, Rove said, “The American Civil Liberties Union says that this statue, which we interpret as such, points to a case the Supreme Court has proposed as long as they keep moving in front of the house. They should be arrested if they stand up, but They have the right to try to impress the Supreme Court judge if they move in front of the house. That’s funny.”

Rove added: “We must either enforce the law or say the season is open to the judges. Because that’s what we do.”

“I think you have the right to protest,” commenter John Williams said.

“But not in front of their house,” said Rove.

Williams said, “You have the right to protest anywhere in America. It’s clear now that these people shouldn’t be cruel and scary. But the idea is they do. I don’t think it’s about influence. It’s going to be radical, extremist and active and soon, believe me, it’s going to polarize this country.” I think it’s about the Supreme Court, which will make a decision. Repeal the 50-year-old law.”

“So, since you don’t agree with the proposed decision, do you think people have a right to go outside the house and try to change their minds by intimidating the judge?” Rove asked. said.

Williams replied, “No.”

Rove said: “What about any case in America? Are you going to stand before the judge and defend everyone’s right to speak? “God, you deserve to protest in front of your house if you decide one way or the other.” Forget it! This is intimidation.”

Williams said: “I think everyone at this table has people coming in or coming to the door, and that’s disturbing. No one is protecting. But the right to protest is important in America.”

“Okay, but not in front of their house,” said Rove.

“I’m just telling you in politics, that’s the truth,” Williams said.

“It’s not a good fact,” said Rove.
