On Sunday’s Fox News program Life, Liberty and Levin, Mark Levin gave a monologue in which he sharply criticized the House Election Committee hearing on the January 6 riots at the US Capitol.
Levin described the committee’s investigation as “fake” and said it “will go down in history as a black mark on the American political system”.
“There’s no way we can get under the truth on this committee,” Levin said. “So what is the purpose of the trial? The purpose of the trial was not to attempt a show trial by Hollywood. The purpose of the trial is to gather information. There are allegedly 1,000 witnesses and 140,000 documents. A thousand witnesses and 140,000 documents? To define what? How is the Capitol building protected? There are a thousand witnesses, but they did not call another Nancy Pelosi to explain what she did or did not do. “It’s a hoax now,” he continued. “It will go down in history as a black mark on the American political system.
